You enter the courtyard of Wallstrasse 6 using your personal PIN received upon signing the contract. The maximum clearance height is 3,4m, making it suitable for some trucks, but not all – cars fit easily. Just 8m past the gate you will find the loading zone reserved exclusively for our customers, allowing you to drive up to about 7m from the goods lift that takes you straight to the self storage area.
If your vehicle is more than 3,4m high, you will need to stop on the quiet Wallstrasse; a standard short-term parking zone applies here, and we have always found a parking space within 20m so far.

By public transport
The Kirschgarten stop is just 100m away, served by tram line 2 and line 1 during peak hours. 300m away is the Bahnhof SBB stop with tram lines 1, 2, 8, 10 and 11 as well as bus lines 30, 48 and 50. Subject to timetable changes and errors. Please also check the BVB timetable.
By bicycle and on foot
By bicycle, you can cycle right up to the door of the goods lift.

Our self storage location in Basel-Stadt, at Wallstrasse 6 in 4051 Basel, is located just 20m from the well-known Elisabethenstrasse. If you walk the 20m to Elisabethenstrasse, you can see Centralbahnplatz, directly in front of Basel SBB railway station, through De-Wette-Park about 200m away.

How much does a storage unit cost in Basel?
Currently from CHF 36.56 per week (CHF 146.25 per month, excl. 8,1% VAT) for 11.3 m³. You can see all available boxes with prices in the list above; billed monthly, pay 12 months in advance to save 10%.
How long do I need to commit for?
Minimum rental period 30 days, then cancel monthly. Only the special offer «1st month for CHF 1» requires a minimum booking of 2 months.
What size do I need?
Rule of thumb: The contents of one room fit into approx. 5 m³, a 2-room flat into 10–15 m³. With our space calculator («How much space do I need?»), select your furniture and boxes to see the right box size straight away – and you can switch to a larger box at any time.
