Renting a storage unit in Lucerne: what you should look out for

What to do with furniture and favorite belongings?

Nobody really likes moving house, right? Maybe there's the odd fanatic who loves nothing more than packing all their possessions into boxes, loading them onto a truck, driving around, hauling packages, and unpacking everything in their new home.

But sometimes things don't go according to plan. What do you do with your belongings if you sell your house, go on a trip around the world, or have to leave your apartment? What happens if your final destination isn't known yet?

In luck: dry units

Squeezing everything into your best friend's garage is just as bad an idea as filling an old container and leaving it covered in your parents' backyard. Furniture isn't protected from moisture, and bugs and cobwebs will quickly make themselves at home.

Unsuitable storage spaces ruin your lovely things while they gather dust.

Tip 1: If you need to store furniture, make sure the premises are suitable.

A good solution? Self storage.

Our insights: Renting a storage unit in Lucerne made easy

Of course we would say that – after all, we're promoting this solution. But beyond the obvious reasons, we can give you a few more things to think about.

Self storage units are cleaned and inspected between tenancies. This ensures your belongings are protected while you store your furniture with us in Lucerne.

Pest-free zone. We keep pests away by carrying out regular pest control measures and inspections. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about pests that hop onto your goods at home. Spray a good pest spray before storing your furniture with us in Lucerne. It works!

Security. Many self storage facilities feature security systems including gate access codes and 24-hour CCTV. Camera surveillance, alarms for individual storage units, locked doors and staff on call provide additional peace of mind.

Different needs, different solutions. As a rule, self storage offers the perfect size for your requirements – from a small flat to a family home and everything in between. You never have to pay for space you don't need.

Flexible. Whether your new place is ready in a month or a year, in a storage unit you can keep your personal belongings and furniture for as long as you like.
